FOUNDER /CEO

Toyin Omozuwa is a writer, compère, communications specialist and  women advocate, dedicated to helping women attain their utmost.

She holds a first degree in Mass Communication, a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Relations and Advertising and a Masters Degree in Media Arts from the University of Abuja.

Toyin is a multi-competent, seasoned broadcast journalist who has worked in leading television stations in Nigeria.

Driven by the passion to promote gender equality and  help women maximise their potential; she started an online closed group on Facebook, named “Woman to Woman”. It was aimed at creating a platform for  women to interact, share their stories and inspirations, exchange ideas and proffer solutions to issues relating to their wellbeing. The group  members are constantly educated, inspired and empowered.

The online group with over  2,000 members, later gave birth to quarterly meetings held in Abuja, Nigeria. The quarterly meetings which bring together women from different religions and backgrounds have become  a forum for women to be trained, mentored and empowered.

For wider and greater impact, the online group was registered in Corporate Affairs Commission with the name, WOMEN SUPPORTING WOMEN NETWORK (WSWN) in 2019.

Toyin invests in programmes  that strengthen  the voices of the marginalised and vulnerable, and  promote the well-being of women and girls in Nigeria.

Toyin communicates vision, purpose, and core values. She offers support and counselling to indigent women, victims of Gender-based violence and creates platforms for survivors to share their stories. Her knowledge of communication strengthens her advocacy campaigns among other things.
